Initially wanted to become a dancer, Heidi Klum had just had the intention to start a modeling career when she was barely 18 years old when she and a friend noticed an advertisement in a magazine for "The Face of the Year", Germany. Encouraged by the pal, she submitted photos and surprisingly made it through to the final and won. Signed with German modeling agency Metropolitan, she initiated modeling in Europe for a few years to great success, and then went to the United States only to meet with more success, culminating in her signing by Victoria's Secret. This early success, beyond her expectation, led her to a career peak resulted in her landing on the cover of Sports Illustrated's annual Swimsuit Issue thus cementing her status as one of the world's top models.
Born on June 1, 1973 in Bergisch Gladbach, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, Heidi spent her early life living in her hometown with her father Gunther who worked for a cosmetics company and mother, Erna who was a hairdresser. Hollywood professional modeling. Upon working on her career there, Heidi got job on TV while also had several small parts in movies, including a cameo playing Swiss bombshell Ursula Andress in the Peter Sellers biopic "The Life and Death of Peter Sellers" (2004). Adding more duty, she next worked as host for Project Runway reality show on the U.S. cable television channel Bravo in December 2004, only to strengthen her status of a professional model and most of all as a high qualified TV personality.

Professional aside, Heidi is an avid painter and has had several of her paintings appear in various art magazines in the U.S. In the meantime, she has also appeared in Jamiroquai's video "Love Foolosophy" from their album "A Funk Odyssey" where she plays the glamorous companion of a promiscuous Jay Kay. In the late 2006, she has also been working on a music single, which was released in Germany on November 17th and immediately peaked at number 15 on the German Singles Charts.
As of her love life, Heidi first married to hairdresser Ric Pipino on September 6, 1997 before then split in November 2002. After that she was romantically linked to F1 Renault boss Flavio Briatore and had a daughter together, Leni, born on May 4, 2004. Unfortunately, this relationship later took its toll when the pair separated by January 2004. Nevertheless, Heidi finally found her true love in English born singer, Seal with whom she tied the knot on May 10, 2005. The couple welcomed the arrival of their first child, a son, Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel, in Los Angeles on September 12, 2005. On November 22, 2006, Heidi gave birth to their second son, named Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel.
